PROVIS contract for Gaza power plant

PROVIS gained a contract for the commissioning management of Gaza first power plant.

PROVIS was awarded an important contract from Alstom Power for the commissioning management of Palestine’s first power plant located south of Gaza City. The combined cycle power plant has a rated power of 140 MW and will have a very important role in the development of Palestine. The completion of the power plant is scheduled to the summer 2003. The power plant consists of two blocks, each with 2 gas turbines with heat recovery boilers and a steam turbine. Emissions from the plant are very low to ensure the environment.
